Gratifying genuine band formed in 1999 by some friends with similar musical tastes. Basically their style is based on the old twenties jug blues, old-time, country, blues grass and jazz bands and all pre-war Memphis music. They felt very happy and honoured when in 2001 they had the opportunity to travel and playing to that city where they had a great success and received very good reviews. They are eight musicians and they specially play those old jug bands instruments such as mandolin, kazoo, lap-style guitar, violin, banjo… As you can easily imagine they are a genuine band who faithfully perform the original sound of that particular geographical area at the beginning of the twentieth century. Tou will find traditional Sleepy John Estes`, Memphis Jug Band or Blind Willie McTell’s songs among others. This cd will be a precious present for your ears and your blues collection. GREAT.

Gratificante y genuina banda formada en 1999 por varios amigos con gustos musicales similares. Su estilo se basa en las viejas bandas de jug, blues, old-time country, bluegrass y jazz de los años veinte y, en general, toda la música de Memphis de preguerra. Para ellos fue un honor y un sueño visitar dicha ciudad a mediados del año 2002, donde tuvieron una excelente acogida por parte de la crítica y el público. El grupo está formado por ocho músicos que tocan especialmente instrumentos de la época de las bandas de jug. Mandolina, kazoo, lap-style guitar, violín, banjo.... como podreis apreciar una banda auténtica y fiel al original sonido de esa region en aquellos años de principios del siglo veinte.
