Congratulations to Fiona Boyes! Her new album Lucky 13 has been nominated for a
Blues Music Award for Contemporary Blues Album of the Year. The Blues Music Awards (formerly known as the W.C. Handy Awards) are universally recognized as the
highest honor given to Blues artists. The awards have been presented by The Blues Foundation in ceremonies since 1980 to celebrate excellence in recording and performance during the previous year.
Members of the Blues Foundation are the voters for Blues Music Awards winners, which is where you come in!
To celebrate Fiona's nomination and to encourage membership in the Blues Foundation, Yellow Dog Records has teamed with Maton Guitars to offer a free reward pack to all Blues Foundation members. Details are below!

Voting in the Blues Music Awards is a privilege of membership in the Blues Foundation. Here's how you can participate:
- Step 1 Join the Blues Foundation! Visit www.blues.org/members/ and click on "Blues Fan" under "Membership Levels"
- Step 2 Visit www.blues.org/bluesmusicawards/vote.php4 to vote in the Blues Music
Awards. You will need your Blues Foundation membership number - if you don't have it handy just click the "Lookup" button to receive an email with your number.
The voting deadline is February 28, 2007. You can vote any time before that, and you can
come back to revise your ballot as many times as you like before voting closes on that date. Fiona's new album Lucky 13 is nominated in the "Contemporary Blues Album of the Year"
category (about halfway down the ballot).

Fiona Boyes' relationship with Maton Guitars began more than 20 years ago when she won a
Maton CW80 acoustic guitar for one of her first public performances. She recorded two award-winning acoustic albums on her CW80, and then went on to record Lucky 13 on her
custom-shop Maton Mastersound, showcasing the incredible versatility of these unique Australian guitars. Fiona is now proudly Maton’s premier Blues ambassador worldwide.
