Recorded in compellingly stark fashion with just two mics and played at conversational volume with no amps, these performances let the beautiful voices of Berit Ulseth and Zach Verdoorn shine. They also properly introduce the four-piece Claudettes who have been touring for almost a year.

The band previously won IMAs for their first Yellow Dog Records album, Infernal Piano Plot…HATCHED! and for Best Long Form Video (Live in the Studio). Now, they’re up for Best Instrumental (Mainly) Album (No Hotel) and Best Instrumental Song (“Big Easy Women”).
