Mr. Robb is a clean-picking acoustic player with a clear, honest voice. Folkies and coffeehouse-blues lovers will enjoy the solo stuff. But my attention is drawn to the second cut, My Mind is Trying to Leave Me (2), a slow urban blues which benefits greatly from the drums, piano and electric bass. Other nice tracks with the full band are Louise (4), and the instrumental Resting Place (5). Those searching for a purer coffeehouse experience should enjoy Hesitation Blues/Knowing What Blues (6) and My Sweet Potato (13)
