Tweedboard names “Devil Die” as Best Blues CD of 2005
The good folks at Tweed’s Blues have named Chris Cotton‘s I Watched the Devil Die as the “All-Around Best Blues CD of 2005”!
The Tweedboard is one of the most lively, cordial, and informed discussion forums about the blues that we’ve found (usually, two out of those three is the best you can do.) Drop by for a visit sometime and check them out.
“Yard Sale” in Paste Sampler
The latest accolade for Mark Lemhouse’s The Great American Yard Sale comes from Paste Magazine, highly respected for featuring up-and-coming new artists. They’ve included the track “Scarlet” in the CD sampler with their new (Dec/Jan) issue, alongside tracks from Fiona Apple, Nada Surf, and Imogen Heap. The entire sampler (as well as all the tracks from “Yard Sale”) are available on iTunes, conveniently compiled into an iMix playlist.
